Meet the PhysioTeam:
Lizzi Farrell-Humphrey: Physiotherapist &
Founder of the Well Balanced Centre
My name is Lizzi and I have lived in Mid Sussex with my family of 7 for the last 13 years. I graduated as a qualified Chartered Physiotherapist from Kings College London in 2005 and am registered with both the HCPC and CSP.
Since qualifying I have worked in both the NHS and private sectors providing inpatient and home based care for older patients. For the last 10 years I have specialised in treating older people with a range of orthopaedic and medical conditions and have a particular interest in falls and balance in this patient group.
I have also spent many years working with patients with dementia and feel very strongly that Physiotherapy can preserve and promote activity in these patients.

My name is Jason and I grew up in Mid Sussex and have recently moved back to the area with my wife and dog (Jonty!). I graduated as a qualified Chartered Physiotherapist from St George’s University in London and am registered with both the HCPC and CSP.

Since qualifying I have worked in various specialities within the NHS and I have a specialist interest in orthopaedics. I have experience in helping patients in their recovery following elective orthopaedic surgery, trauma and acute illness.

I am passionate about empowering people to maintain or improve their activity levels to help them lead fuller and more independent lives.
In my spare time, I play cricket for Haywards Heath cricket club and will be playing in my 3rd season with the club. I enjoy taking Jonty on countryside walks, the beach and frequenting the local Sussex pubs. I am a big foodie and enjoy cooking for friends and family and cannot wait for the summer BBQ season!
Jason: Chartered Physiotherapist
My name is Thomas, I am currently a senior physiotherapist in the NHS. I qualified as a physiotherapist in 2020 with a first class degree.
Since qualifying, I have completed all of the core physiotherapy rotations with the NHS. I am passionate about helping people get back to doing the things they enjoy and have a particular interest in neurological conditions.
Outside of physiotherapy, I like meeting with friends, cooking tasty food, and am a keen DIYer always having a project on the go!
