How did it all begin? Meet Lizzi our Founder.

Lizzi Farrell-Humphrey

My name is Lizzi and I have lived in Mid Sussex with my family of 8 (plus Bob, the dog!) for the last 12 years.  I graduated as a qualified Chartered Physiotherapist from Kings College London in 2005 and am registered with both the HCPC and CSP.

Since qualifying I have worked in both the NHS and private sectors providing inpatient and home based care for older patients.  For the last 9 years I have specialised in treating older people with a range of orthopaedic and medical conditions and have a particular interest in falls and balance in this patient group.

I have also spent many years working with patients with dementia and feel very strongly that Physiotherapy can preserve and promote activity in these patients.

Seeing the impact of ageing on people on a daily basis I have become extremely passionate about wanting to promote the best quality of life I can for this population.

I strongly believe that seeing people in their own home environments can really help build a positive therapeutic relationship in a setting where the individual feels more at ease which in turn helps boost confidence.

Exercise can be fun!

Whether it’s as simple as wanting to get up out of your favourite chair more easily, or feel more confident with your balance or walking, I am deeply committed to delivering high quality community care for older people in their own homes.

I’m always happy to have a chat so give me a call or drop me an email so we can work out the best way to help you achieve that increased confidence and quality of life you would like.
